When you’re hosting an elegant black tie fundraiser under the Kimberley night sky, presentation matters. The Kununurra Black Tie Fundraiser organisers required premium drinkware that reflected the sophistication of the evening while remaining practical and safe for an outdoor venue.
That’s where Rowdy Crowd stepped in.
Held at the Kununurra Race Club, the event required a glass-free solution suitable for an outdoor setting. Standard plastic cups weren’t appropriate for a black tie event supporting Ovarian Cancer Australia and Head & Neck Cancer Australia.
The organisers needed something that looked elegant, felt premium and aligned with the quality of the guest experience they were creating.
260 custom printed Tritan™ Wine Tumblers and Champagne Flutes from the Rowdy Crowd ‘White Range’ with event branding to deliver the premium presentation organisers were looking for. The print design also recognised the supported charities to reinforce the significance of the evening.
The Rowdy Crowd White Range behaves just like glass, yet is completely shatterproof – without staining or taste taint it completely eliminates the risks associated with traditional glassware. Lightweight, reusable and dishwasher safe, the drinkware was perfect for the outdoor fundraising event.

Unlike disposable cups that are thrown away at the end of the night, guests took their drinkware home. Every wine tumbler and champagne flute became a keepsake that will continue telling the story of the event long after the final auction item had been sold.
For fundraising events, that’s incredibly valuable. The branding remains visible, the memory of the evening lives on and awareness for the supported causes continues to grow beyond the day.
The event raised an incredible$128,000 for Ovarian Cancer Australia and Head & Neck Cancer Australia.
While the fundraising success belongs to the organisers, volunteers, sponsors and guests, Rowdy Crowd was proud to support the evening by helping create an elegant guest experience worthy of the occasion.
"Your support is greatly appreciated and will help facilitate cancer research. We cannot facilitate events like this without your support, so we are truly grateful."
We’re proud to play a role in helping to create unforgettable events – especially those that raise awareness, generate funds and, for this particular event, contribute to the $128,000 raised for cancer research and patient initiatives.
Importantly, our custom Tritan™ drinkware continues to remind guests for many years to come of the event, the community and the cause – every future “Cheers” with one of these champagne flutes or wine tumblers will spark a conversation remembering that night and that event.
